Annual Conference, and many others dedicated the Louisiana Friendship Plaza at
Mount Sequoyah during Bishops’ Week.
The plaza comes to the Fayetteville,
Arkansas located historic institution as a
“thank you” gift from the Louisiana
Conference to the South Central
Jurisdiction for the many disaster relief
teams and hundreds of volunteers that traveled to assist with hurricane response
efforts over the last three years.
“Mount Sequoyah is the official retreat
and conference center of the South Central
Jurisdiction, and is the center of United
Methodism for our jurisdiction,” said Rev.
