During the Fall 2011 semester, three
Communication Studies’ students were
able to participate in an incredible educational opportunity outside of their
home department.
Seniors Clarissa
Bowers, Rebekah Fehrman, and Taylor
Walt were part of a Virginia Ball Center
for Critical Inquiry project under the
direction of Dr.
Deborah Mix, an Associate Professor in the Department of
English.
The Virginia Ball Center allows
faculty to design a project that “immerses” students in learning outside of the
traditional classroom.
