What is faith? Ask a priest, an old man, a teenager and a kid.
You will,
invariably, get different answers.
But, they will always point towards the
same idea.
To have faith means you believe.
People with troubled lives seem
to think that it is anger which helps them survive, but they overlook the fact
that so can faith.
In Heb 11:1 it is said, “.
.
.
faith is being sure of what we
hope for and certain of what we do not see.
” The Christian Faith was born
in the time when the son of God, the Messiah—Jesus Christ walked upon this
earth, cleansing people of their sins.
Having faith thus believes that there is
an all powerful and benevolent God who cares for His children and will take
them into His bosom if asked for absolution.
Just as, parents forgive their
child’s follies, so does God.
If one has sinned one has to repent to get back
into the Lord’s grace.
